Stick up wins audience award
The festival announced its two audience awards on June 21. The festival recorded a record-breaking 175 films this year, including 30 made by Oklahomans.

The short works because McIntosh creates a visual chess game of violence on a small budget. Much of the action takes place off-screen. He builds the right amount of tension just before each brutal beat. His use of titles and music makes his small story feel epically cinematic.
